DepEd-CDO ICT to Push for Unique Immersion Initiative

The CDO ICT Business Council scheduled a follow-up meeting with DepEd on the concerns of the immersion program and the ICT Council’s recommendations to best equip the SHS students in preparation for the ICT industry. Mr. Juan Mingo, Education Program Supervisor and Mr. James Sijo, IT Officer of DepEd joined the core team for this exercise.  Recommendations on using the current DICT Tech4Ed modules, LEAP program and other specialized training sessions by IT-BPM stakeholders were suggested to DepEd to consider the activities as immersion for SHS students as well as prepping them with the demanded skills of the ICT industry.
