The ICT Awards is part of the CDO ICT Business Council initiative, an annual event that is a result of coordinated efforts of members of the Council to appreciate and recognize local ICT stakeholders, organizations, and champions who have significantly made a mark in the ICT industry and community, pushed forward towards citywide growth and support, and embraced innovation.

CDO ICT Business Council has established itself as an important organization and support system for the local growing ICT community, with whom champions and advocates gather together to exchange ideas and best practices, bridge gaps and build meaningful networks to form a solid foundation for which the ICT industry and the city as a whole benefits from. The Council intends to also explore ways and means to help startups grow and flourish, with the city of Cagayan de Oro’s increasing capabilities and readiness as an innovator continuing to prove to be one of the cornerstones of tomorrow’s economy at the countryside.
